My role at QinetiQ brings portfolio-level technical authority to work involving multidisciplinary engineering teams and suppliers. I focus on architectural coherence, technical assurance and the evidence behind delivery decisions.

Complex engineering depends on understanding the relationships between individual decisions. Architecture, integration, operability and delivery constraints need to be considered together.
My remit
- Provide technical authority and assurance across a portfolio of engineering work.
- Bring multidisciplinary teams and suppliers together around a coherent technical approach.
- Support governed adoption of AI, with attention to assurance, accountability and the evidence needed for its use.
- Define engineering standards and integration principles.
- Make technical risks, trade-offs and decision ownership explicit.
- Align the engineering approach across architecture, delivery and sustainment.
- Give clear, evidence-based engineering advice to senior stakeholders.
